About Us

The First Steps International Pre-School was established in 1997 and provides a family-oriented setting that is cosy and comfortable to learn. First Steps is a good place for children to develop a better sense of self from an impressionable age, and a greater understanding of the world around them at the same time.

First Steps International Preschool

The school follows the British National Curriculum for kids from the Early Years class (sixteen months and older) up to the Key Stage 1 class (around seven years old), and also offers German and French language programmes as an optional part of the curriculum. This ensures that a child is exposed to learning new languages from the beginning of his/her educational journey.

The school takes pride in its teacher fraternity which is composed of highly specialised experienced teachers. They strive hard to teach and prepare a student adequately to take on the challenges of the future. All teachers were certified in the United Kingdom, and the school states that all were chosen due to their obvious passion for teaching and love for children.

UK Early Years Curriculum

The school has a diverse student community that consists of children from multiple cultures and countries. The rich diversity of cultures and backgrounds ensures that children are exposed to all kinds of cultures from a very early age.

The First Steps International Pre-School has excellent facilities for students. It has a swimming pool, air-conditioned sports hall and a grass playground. The combination of extra curricular activities and classes, along with a caring group of teachers and a world class learning environment mean that each child attending First Steps is already being exposed to worthwhile opportunities from the pre-adolescent stage itself.

The school has an association with LETS ASIA which ensures that the swimming and physical education lessons imparted in the school are world standard. Aside from physical education, the school also provides music, dance and movement classes for children.
