Founded in 2002, the Australian International School Bangkok is home to more than 400 students from across 25 different nationalities. We pride ourselves on our close-knit community, academic excellence, co-curricular activities, multicultural environment, world class facilities and our central location in the heart of Sukhumvit.
We aim to provide a supportive, child-centred learning environment, where children of all nationalities discover the joy of learning, and obtain a firm foundation for fulfilment and success in their future endeavours.
We are centrally located in the heart of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit area. We have 2 campuses – Our AISB Soi 20 Campus (Nursery 1 to Year 1) and AISB Soi 31 Campus (Year 1 to Year 12).
At our Soi 31 campus, the AISB Innovation and Sports Centre provides purpose-built facilities to support our students beyond the classroom. These include: undercover sports field, swimming pool, innovation hub, digital technology and robotics laboratory, music and movement centre, multimedia centre, visual art and design technology studio, food technology kitchen and dining space as well as the science engineering and mathematics laboratory.
Our academic focus and curriculum prepare our students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers. Our learning approach blends science and creativity in the classroom with music and sporting opportunities through our co-curricular programs.
Our Nursery program uses the Australian Early Years Learning Framework ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’ as our guiding curriculum document.
Our Kindergarten program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and provides a rich and engaging child-centred environment where children’s learning is embedded in play experiences.
Our Primary school uses the Australian Curriculum as the basis for its teaching and learning which is designed to develop confident and creative individuals who will become active and informed citizens.
