About Us

British Columbia International School Bangkok (also known as BCISB) offers the Columbia curriculum to students. The faculty team consists of certified Canadian teachers who follow the British Columbia curriculum, which is one of the best Canadian educational programmes worldwide.

British Columbia Influenced International School

BCISB empowers her students to be creative, collaborative, critical, and communicative. The school’s curriculum is being redesigned to reflect the core competencies of personal, social, intellectual, and emotional development that each student has to engage in.

The current core competencies include critical thinking, creative thinking, personal awareness and responsibility, communication, social responsibility, as well as positive personal and cultural identity. They are taught at a modern campus that was completed in 2007 and are surrounded by a warm, caring community

Students get the British Columbia Canadian School Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood diploma) and a diploma accredited by the Thai Government upon graduating from this school. It intends to create well-rounded personalities who are able to take on the challenges of university-level education in English-speaking countries worldwide.

Blending Thai and Canadian Culture

BCISB offers the curriculum of the province of British Columbia, which has been redesigned and contains the right blend of Canadian and Thai traditions, thus providing a multicultural exposure. Students are coached to get a university-level scholarship in English. Students become ready for future challenges and opportunities after going through a comprehensive curriculum.

Classes are conducted in a building equipped with all the modern facilities including a purpose-built gymnasium, a 5-lane swimming pool, a large library, music/ art/ drama studios, not to mention both indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Students of British Columbia International School Bangkok are encouraged to undertake co-curricular activities such as arts, music and sports.

The school also offers exchange programmes where students get an opportunity to study in Canada. This programme is offered with two cities – Halifax and Nova Scotia of Canada.
