Chiang Rai International School (also known as CRIS) follows a mission to provide the highest quality education in a compassionate, safe and nurturing Christian environment. The school follows four core values – confidence, responsibility, integrity and sincerity.
CRIS was established in 2010 with a goal to holistically develop each child. The school’s campus is the first to be purpose-built in the scenic and culturally significant city of Chiang Rai, Thailand. Chiang Rai International School offers the California state curriculum and provides education to students from preschool up to secondary levels. The secondary and primary programmes cover core subjects as well as co-curricular activities of Physical Education, Music, Art, Chinese, ICT, and Bible. They use an integrated curriculum which allows students to discover multiple hobbies and hone their skills with hands-on experience.
The school offers extensive facilities to students which includes a purpose-built building fitted with state-of-the-art technologies. These include dormitories, a swimming pool, computer labs, art rooms, science labs, library, football pitch, indoor gym, music room, minimart and transportation service.
All of those amenities can be found on CRIS’ 4.5 hectare campus situated in the Rimkok sub-district, about 3 kilometres from the provincial capital of Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand.
