QSI International School of Phuket follows a mission to keep the urge to learn alive in children. The school was established to provide good quality English language education to students. The student community is multicultural with a majority of students being children of expatriates.
Since 2014, QSI Phuket has been accredited by the Middle States Association, a leading organisation in school enhancement and accreditation with over 125 years of experience in helping education leaders in establishing and reaching their academic goals including developing learning strategies, championing staff and faculty training and development, and always advancing the cause of students’ academic achievement.
Originally founded in the year 2000 as a pioneering international school on the touristy island of Phuket, QSI Phuket places a lot of stock in what the school defines as their “Success Orientations” which serve as the backbone for the eventual desired learning outcomes and opportunities that are available to the students. Some of these Success Orientations include kindness and trustworthiness, politeness, aesthetic appreciation, group interaction, independent endeavours, concern for others, and responsibility.
The school offers the American curriculum and offers education to students from preschool up to secondary levels. It follows a logical model of education where the success of the school is measured by the accomplishments and attitudes of students. The school believes that students can succeed and encourages them to succeed.
The school develops clear statements in measurable terms on how students will demonstrate the mastery of learning. The school dedicates adequate time and resources for each student to flourish in life. The school encourages learning at each level, which in itself is a challenging task.
