Chiang Mai International School

Chiang Mai International School was established in 1954 and has been providing an excellent education to thousands for more than 60 years now. The school follows the US curriculum which is delivered by well-qualified teachers who provide instructions in English.

The school offers Advanced Placement courses in high school to help students get admission in prestigious universities around the world, and holds accreditation with several prestigious authorities across the world including the Western Associations of Schools and Colleges (WASC) from the US, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), East Asian Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS), and several others.

Originally set up by Christian missionaries to educate their own children, this historic school now celebrates the ethnic and cultural diversity of a multinational community spanning over thirty countries, often speaking multiple languages, and oftentimes holding more than one passport.

Chiang Mai International School seeks to provide academic excellence in a caring community. The student community is primarily multicultural with students coming from 31 different countries. The school imparts Christian values in lessons and activities, although the school community welcomes, and consists of, students from around the world as the international community in northern Thailand continues to grow larger.

US Curriculum International School

The school offers education from preschool to secondary school levels, making use of the Common Core State Standards that were established by the American state education committee according to the American curriculum. The school places significant emphasis on academic excellence, training them to be global-minded individuals but also confident and articulate learners.

Apart from academics, the school offers options of several co-curricular activities to students including dance, football, swimming, netball and a range of other activities. The school also has a number of clubs to promote the co-curricular activities such as art club, biology club, debate club, history club, film club, fitness club, fencing club and a host of others.
