Saint John Mary International School (SJMIS) covers a purpose-built campus, with the actual building construction taking place in early 2002 after a period of studying the market in 2001. The school aims to provide a broad-based stimulating educational experience with the highest quality for all students.

SJMIS is built on the foundation of integrity and of service to others., established by the founder Ajarn Samai Chinapha who also founded the Saint John University of Bangkok and the Saint John School of Commerce. The school’s vision of providing a high standard yet low cost school academic institute, as an excellent opportunity to improve both academic skill and English language skill for Thai and international students alike.

In the spirit of ‘East meets West’, mingling with people within the SJMIS community who come from all over the world, will help SJMIS students grow in a variety of ways be it culturally, intellectually, morally, and even physically.

The school follows the National Curriculum of England and offers kindergarten to secondary levels. Most of the teaching staff are qualified from the UK. The school also has teachers from the USA and Canada who have experience of teaching the National Curriculum of England.

The Saint John Mary International School focuses on the best practices in international education and fosters academic achievement, learning essential life skills and qualities necessary for global citizenship in the 21st century. The school promotes intercultural understanding, empathy, communication and respect which helps students gain a cultural and national identity.

The school follows a British derived curriculum which is ideal for international students. However, it modifies the British derived curriculum to match the local cultural aspects.

This school also offers the sixth form to students. The sixth form students are treated as young adults rather than conventional school pupils. They have various freedom and rights which are not available to students of other standards. The school offers a number of extra-curricular activities to students for their holistic development.
