About Us

Charter International School provides high-quality British education from preschool up to secondary levels. The school was established to help students from Thai and non-Thai backgrounds to flourish in their lives, both academically and personally.

British International School in Thailand

The school works hard to create self-motivated, independent learners who are open-minded and know how to add value to the future world. To achieve this, the school aims to shape up students who are critical thinkers, effective communicators, academically successful and socially responsible.

With over twenty five nationalities represented within the student population, the school promises a safe and welcoming family atmosphere where students and teachers regardless of age and affiliation work pleasantly together, and where there are international programmes but with an appreciation for local living, Thai culture and customs.

The curriculum followed in preschool level is Early Years Foundation Scheme. From primary to secondary levels is the English National Curriculum. Charter International School is an all-through school which provides a holistic education with the intention of shaping young minds to excel in critical thinking, carry social responsibility and use effective communication for academic success.

All Through School in Bangkok

At the preschool level, the curriculum focuses on English and numeracy with an introduction to the Thai language. The subjects learned by students at the primary level include science, history, computing, art, design, geography, music, swimming and Thai. From year 3, students start learning Mandarin.

In the middle school level, the school offers a good number of choice subjects in preparation for IGCSE. These include English, History, Computer Science, Mathematics, Geography, Science, Drama and others. Charter boasts of the seal of approval from both the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Charter International School has a nice school campus equipped with two indoor basketball courts, gymnastic room, sports field, swimming pools, libraries and a theatre.
