Singapore International School of Bangkok Thonburi Campus offers Singapore and the UK curriculum to students. Their mission is to develop students to their full potential and ensure they grow physically, socially, and intellectually.
This Thonburi campus is one of the five current Singapore International School of Bangkok (the academic institution that pioneered the Singaporean school curriculum in Thailand) campuses in the country. The other campuses are located in and around the capital city Bangkok, except for Singapore International School of Bangkok, Chiang Mai Campus which is the first SISB campus in the north of Thailand.
The school follows a trilingual approach by teaching English, Thai and Chinese across all levels to its students. The school offers a high-quality holistic education with a wide variety of extra-curricular activities conducted on state-of-the-art facilities for students to utilise to full effect.
Singapore International School Bangkok Thonburi Campus is the first Singapore international school in Thonburi. It caters to students at the preschool and primary levels, with separate buildings for Nursery-Kindergarten and Primary. Students can appear for international examinations such as Singapore iPSLE, Cambridge primary checkpoint and the school’s internal examinations at the end of the primary level.
Well recognised for its creative child-centric approach, this campus caters to nursery and kindergarten students aged between two to six years who will be assessed holistically throughout their time there. The school also caters to primary students aged six to twelve years old, who have to follow the world-renown Singapore curriculum, and eventually sit for the Singapore iPSLE, Cambridge checkpoints, and also other school exams.
Graduates of the primary programme can move on to the Singapore International School of Bangkok Pracha Uthit Campus to further their secondary studies utilising established Singapore and British curricula.
Education at this school comprises much more than academic learning. The Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) Programme is designed in a way to encourage students to join independently, training their time management and responsibility.
The campus covers an area of 12,800 square metres and has a capacity of 750 students. The facilities include a swimming pool, multi-purpose hall, music room, science lab, arts and crafts room and playground.
