Brent International School Subic

Brent International School Subic not only prepares students for admission to leading colleges and universities throughout the world but also empowers students. The school was founded in 1994 and eventually became independently incorporated in 1995 as a subsidiary school of the Brent Schools corporation.

Experiential Hands-On Learning

The school’s goal is to provide quality education to the youth of the Philippines and resident children of the international community. The school uses North American developmental philosophy, which places a heavy emphasis on experiential, hands-on learning.

This has been proven to allow students a deeper level of comprehension than the traditional model, which focuses on rote memorisation at the expense of comprehension and transfer of knowledge. The school is accredited by The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) based in the United States.

Education is critical at all stages of development, and Brent International School Subic offers schooling from kindergarten up until high school stages. The school offers 3 categories of academic levels which are Lower School, Middle School and Upper School.

Developing the Whole Child

Starting from the Lower School Curriculum is unique, as the Curriculum is drawn from the best international sources worldwide to ensure the provision of diverse experiences for the students, that enables them to work better in a global community.

The school also develops the whole child, which includes fostering social and interpersonal skills, often through collaborative projects. For Middle School, guidance and perspectives are shared which in turn aids students in developing life skills. Topics are discussed that will help our students make informed decisions when faced with life’s challenging moments.

The Upper School (grades 9–12) prepares students for the rigours of a postgraduate education through a challenging curriculum, a diverse activities program and a firm grounding in an ecumenical Christian environment. Students are challenged daily to lead group activities, present ideas in class, think globally, contest view points, listen, hypothesize, draw conclusions and question.
