Westfields International School is a private, co-educational day school serving students from Toddler (age 2) through Grade 12. The school is a member of Cambridge Assessment International Education school as well as a member of the International Schools Association. The school first opened as a small preschool with Ms. Pinky Narciso as the founder and owner.
With further building developments, the school’s academic offerings grew from Preschool to High School in 2004, and the enrollment expanded quickly. By 2014, the school was formally accepted globally as a Cambridge Assessment International Education school.
The school believes that the level of care is as important as the level of academics. Westfields International School uses a holistic approach to expand the minds of young learners and teach them the importance of caring for themselves and others.
The school offers education levels from preschool until High School levels, providing complete road map of the student’s education journey. The Preschool program is rooted in a literature-based approach that connects new concepts and makes them meaningful to the child. Having memorable experiences with storybooks, poems, and songs each day develops a life-long, pleasurable association with reading.
As for the Primary level students, Westfields offers an enhanced, integrated curriculum that caters to a wide array of lessons and, at the same time, provides an in-depth presentation of concepts. Skills are developed through activity-rich lessons that are geared towards the development of 21st century skills while tapping into students’ multiple intelligences.
The development of the 4 C’s (communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking) is reflected in the activities that comprise the students’ day. For the High School level, on the other hand, the school offers a curriculum for grades 11 & 12 to qualify students for entry into universites in a range of countries.
The school’s certified Cambridge Assessment International Examination programme is committed to excellence in education and its qualification is internationally recognized. Students are guided by teachers who have high standards which define what we believe to be the key characteristics and practices of effective teachers and school leaders.
The school is situated on over 13,000 square meters of land in the heart of Pampanga, the school facilities offerings are immense.
