ONE International School Philippines

At ONE International School Philippines, teaching and learning offer them all numerous opportunities to focus on a number of small things that culminate overtime to produce students that are prepared to do great things in life. The school’s vision is to provide high-quality education for British children and English speaking children of other nationalities.

Social Emotional Development

The school also values the social and emotional development of each child as they transition from their primary years through early adolescence. Life-long learning is also part of this and aims to make your child’s learning experience engaging and exciting. The school only offers education levels from as young as 2 years old to 15 years old.

For students from 2 to 5 years old, the school recognises the importance of the early years as a stage of development where education could be promoted through play to maximize children’s potential. This stage in the curriculum emphasizes child-led, child-focused and play-based learning, where children cover all the subjects they will learn in Key Stage 1 and beyond but at their behest and following their own interests.

Moving to the next stage, for kids age 5 to 7 years old, also known as Key Stage One (KS1) students learn, practice, combine, develop and refine a wide range of skills in their work. Some of these skills are subject-specific such as reading, writing, mathematics, communication, improving one’s own learning and performance, and creative thinking.

Self Discovery and Team Building

For students age between 7 to 11 years old, ONE International School Philippines centered the learning around exploration and students beginning to find their own independence, applying key skills that will help them develop into a global citizen. This includes combining teacher-led activities with self-discovery and team building, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Finally for those aged 11 to 15 years old, the faculty has created a diverse and enriching curriculum which accommodates all of the student body, whilst offering a relevant yet modernised version of the English curriculum. With a well-experienced staff body, all of whom are English speaking, qualified by English accreditators, implementing the curriculum to the highest level.
