Leaders International Christian School of Manila was started by evangelistic couple, Ivan and Bernard, who felt a calling to build a school with the outlook to minister to, to develop, and to train generations of children in the ways and doctrines of the Bible and to foster leaders with Christian philosophies.
The school’s administration believes that their brand of philosophical teachings are even more relevant now, given the differences with young people nowadays compared with prior generations- mainly because of the advent and mass availability of present day and continuously emerging technology.
Especially with the widespread availability of the internet and it’s immediate accessibility to children, many parents are continually challenged by the additional anxiety of filtering what is seen, heard, and absorbed by their children. After all, what very young impressionable minds might perceive as “right” or “normal” may ultimately affect their choices, character, and how they fit into society in the future.
With a mission “to glorify God & develop the next generation of leaders and innovators”, the Leaders International Christian School of Manila even provides drop-in care with early drop-off and late pick-up, to accommodate busy parents who can’t supervise their kids all day.
At Leaders International Christian School, every child is involved in stimulating activities daily. The school ensures the activities are enjoyable, as child learning outcomes are significantly increased when the child’s enjoyment levels are engaged. As the school’s board is fully aware of the importance of work, as well as the stress and ever-growing demands placed on parents, the school strives to partner with parents and carers to ensure that their children are always in good hands.
Education is offered from preschool level to high school level. The school follows a Bible-centered curriculum using BJU Press and ABEKA textbooks and curriculum materials from the U.S. for their K-12 programme, and Montessori Materials in their Nursery, K4 (4 yrs. old), and K5 (5 yrs. old) classes.
