Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School

Before the school was called Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School, it was formerly named Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai Educational Center under the management of its mother association, the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai, Inc.

History of PNJK International School

It commenced operation on June 1992 with its preschool Department having barely 10 students in Kindergarten 1, and 14 students from the Kindergarten 2, or in a total of 24 students. The first school president was the late Rodolfo Tutor Sr. who was aided by then School Administrator, Mr. Vicente Mori.

Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School is a leading educational institution that produces leaders who are globally competitive, multi-culturally sensitive, disciplined and proficient in the Japanese language. Being a Filipino and Japanese School, it aims to provide quality education including Japanese language and culture and personality development by adopting positive Filipino and Japanese values and to produce responsible leaders and assets of the community.

With its enriched curriculum coupled with the sincere desire to be of service to the community, the school population continues to grow in number, even in the absence of campaigns or paid advertisements. Naturally the school is popular among students of Japanese heritage, but the number of other nationalities is also growing steadily.

The school divides into 5 different categories when it comes to education levels which are, Preschool, Intermediate, Junior High and Senior High School level. The school ensure that students acquire excellent knowledge, talent and leadership skills through quality education and exposures to curricular and co-curricular activities as students continue their life after school.

Teachers are also driven to excel and improve when it comes to teaching students at Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School. All members of the faculty are trained, or are given training, in order to become effective and efficient teachers. During summer, teachers attend the intensive training, seminars and workshops to prepare them for the school year.
