Nexus International School Singapore follows a child-centred philosophy where they put students at the centre of the education. The school creates an internationally minded learning community which nurtures and supports students’ emotional, physical, creative and intellectual needs.
The school’s responsibility stems from their role as educators to nurture and grow each individual child in preparation for a fuller life. The students are frequently encouraged to appreciate the diverse community that they now belong to, and to care for others as global citizens, while simultaneously developing concern and an active respect for their surrounding environment.
The school concentrates on 3 core values – personalised, digital and inclusive. The school understands that every child is unique and therefore strives to personalise the learning to suit every individual learner. This helps in better absorption of educational takeaways by the 900 plus students aged between 3 and 18 years old, originating from over 50 countries.
According to the school principal, her personal values of respect, trust, innovation, and a sense of community is reflected in the school’s values. It is also important for the children to be aware that they are a part of a global community, not just individuals within their own sphere.
The school extensively uses technology to dramatically enhance education. The use of technology facilitates the learning process and provides support for the entire curriculum. The school promotes inclusiveness in the sense that the admission policy strictly adheres to childrens’ abilities and skill sets.
To that end, the school curriculum (detailed below) emphasises the gaining of knowledge as well as the understanding, the critical thinking, and the problem solving capabilities necessary to be considered productive learners who possess leadership abilities within the international fraternity.
Nexus International School Singapore offers the Cambridge International curriculum to students from preschool up to the secondary levels where they will take their IGCSEs. Students of Year 12 and 13 are offered the IB Diploma courses. The school offers a range of academic and swimming scholarships.

This hunger and drive for knowledge carries over and is imparted to their young charges. Apart from academia, the school puts strong emphasis on co-curricular activities. The school is a part of the Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools and promotes sports activities. Students can learn swimming, football, badminton, drama, music, dance and a lot of other facilities.
