Since being founded in January 2005, the school has undergone a major renovation whereby many new buildings and facilities were added which caters to the comfort of the students and staffs.
The student community consists of students from 30 nationalities who enrich the culture of the school. This brings in an international mindedness among all students. The school campus is a state of the art campus which offers a variety of facilities. The school has boarding facilities. It also provides pastoral care to ensure that students feel cared for and loved. Apart from this, the school also offers counselling to students.
The curriculum is primarily an English language medium in the two-year International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for Year 3 followed by the two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme for Year 5. However, there is a significant emphasis on allowing students to still partake papers in their native languages, such as their Cambridge ‘O’ Levels, taking their mother tongue as a second language, or studying a foreign language.
Anglo-Chinese School (ACS) International has tremendously active Alumni and Parent School Partners (PSPs), with the Cookery Club CCA as a great example: the parent volunteer association supports a host of events throughout the school calendar year including the Back to School Party, the International Day lunch and the Teachers’ Day Lunch.
