About Us

Spanish Primary School offers a trilingual education (Spanish, Chinese and English) an education methodology which is already very popular in Europe. It offers preschool and primary levels.

It follows a mission to advocate academic excellence in a trilingual environment, foster creativity and sportsmanship, cultivate morality and positive values, unleashing an individual’s leadership potential, respect individual differences and embrace cultural diversity and encourage the pursuit of dreams and aspirations. The school is located at the heart of Shuen Wan, close to Beverly Hills.

Spanish International Primary School

Spanish Primary School instils the positive values of kindness, honesty, humility, respect and commitment. The school follows a unique curriculum which has been developed following the guidance of academic advisors and academic researchers.

The primary programme is divided into two groups of subjects – core and foundation, both of which consists of many subjects. The core subjects include English, Spanish, Chinese, Mathematics and Science. The foundation subjects include History, Geography, ICT, Music and Drama, Physical Education, Art, Personal, Social and Leadership Education and Ecological Education.

Students have to learn all the subjects. In the preschool level, the school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and at the primary level, it follows the British National Curriculum and offers Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Trilingual Education in Hong Kong

The highlight of this school is its unique language education policy where multilingualism is followed. Knowing multiple languages enhances the problem-solving and creative abilities of children and also improves their memory. Hence, students learn English, Mandarin and Spanish.

The school uses a direct teaching method where students learn through explicit instructions. This helps the school maximise students’ academic growth as well as follow a structured, systematic and effective teaching methodology. Since there is no scope of ambiguity, students learn faster and are able to retain whatever they learn. The school follows an immersive teaching method to ensure that children learn the languages fast.
