Holly Rofe Early Learning Center is a Jewish preschool with an intent to raise Jewish minded children in Hong Kong. The school understands the importance of starting early to build a strong Jewish identity in children and thus intends to help parents in their endeavour to do the same.
The school provides suitable conditions for brain development in children and helps them develop interpersonal relationships. This school has three programmes – Tzutzik, Ganeynu and Nursery programs. All the programmes provide children with a boutique learning environment.
The Holly Rofé Early Learning Centre serves as a stepping stone to the school’s Elementary School programme, providing the foundation and framework for the transition to the other Carmel School Association schools, such as the Elsa High School campus for primary to secondary education.
Classes are conducted in a purpose-built facility which is ideal to conduct the transdisciplinary curriculum of the school. The facilities are tailor-made to allow young learners to develop cognitively and emotionally at their pace.
The school has a dedicated team of early years educators who provide every child with individual time and attention each day. The class sizes are small, with a high teacher to student ratio which helps teachers cater to the cognitive, personal and emotional needs of all children are catered to.
Admission starts from 12 months of age. The school uses the globally-renowned concept of learning through play. Through play-based activities, students experiment, explore, discover and create.
The school teaches children to socialise and interact with one another through play. The play also helps children learn the need for group work, collaboration and kindness towards each other. Teachers observe the strengths and areas for improvement in the children and design the programme to meet those needs.
The school creates a lovely environment with open spaces which help children to explore and learn. There are outdoor play areas which allow the children to adventure and develop their gross motor skills while connecting with the outside.
