About Us

Mount Kelly International Preschool and Nursery School provides play-based education and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. The school has three levels – Nursery (K1), Reception (K2) and Upper Reception (K3) (2 to 6 years old). The school has a happy and vibrant environment where students enjoy their learning process. It is conveniently located at the heart of Jordan and is easily accessible from the Jordan MTR station.

Mount Kelly International School has three campuses in Hong Kong – Mount Kelly Babies and Toddlers, Mount Kelly International Preschool and Nursery School and Mount Kelly School Hong Kong.

British Early Years Foundation Stage in HK

The school provides the right foundations for a successful learning journey of students. It strives to facilitate the holistic development of students including their intellectual, social and physical development. The school has a play-based learning curriculum which follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

Through free, guided, adventure or social play, the school facilitates deep learning. Students not only learn about the world around them, but they also learn a lot about themselves. Play is used as a foundation for strong academic achievement.

Academically, this school follows the British National Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum as a base for supporting the holistic development of the child for Pre-Nursery (PN), Nursery (K1) and Reception (K2). Learning in school is divided into seven areas – physical development, communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, literacy development, mathematics, expressive arts and design and understanding the world. These areas help children pick up the skills, knowledge and experiences that children acquire as they grow, learn and develop.

International Preschool and Nursery

The day to day school life at Mount Kelly International Preschool and Nursery School is fun, engaging and enriching. The school understands that this is the first experience of school for all students and hence intend to make it as much fun as possible.

Children participate in a wide variety of activities throughout the day and look forward to attending the school. Every little success and achievement of each child is celebrated in the school which motivates the children.
