Since 1966, Traill International School has been providing a world-class education to students in Bangkok. The school has been consistently delivering outstanding academic results and has received innumerable awards for being a good school from reputed authorities.
Founded in 1962 by Mr and Mrs Anthony Traill, the academic establishment originally known as The Preparatory School was the first British secondary school in the whole of Thailand with an initial enrollment of just 82 students.
For over fifty years now, the historic institution has been wholeheartedly educating “the whole child” as Mr and Mrs Traill put it, putting in place measures to guarantee a well-rounded development process of their young charges, including an intensive focus on their academic, athletic, as well as moral attributes.
The school caters to students from preschool up to secondary levels and follows the British curriculum where students are offered a selection of the IGCSEs, AS levels and A levels in consecutive years at the secondary grade levels, including the Sixth Form.
The Traill International School intentionally maintains a limited class size where the teacher-student ratio Is 8:1. This enables the teachers to deliver a personalised style of teaching and look after each child individually.
The faculty team consists of experienced teachers who are extremely good with children. The rigorous recruitment procedure ensures that the school employs some of the best teachers in town.
The school also puts a lot of emphasis on child welfare as students are given the opportunity to grow and shine not only academically, but through extra-curricular activities as well. Students can join these activities every day between 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm to expand their interests and develop life skills.
This is to ensure the students have a well-balanced education so that they can compete in a global scenario. It also offers a range of services to students such as transportation, nutritious meal, medical facilities and career counselling.
