Lanna International School Primary & Early Years Campus

Lanna International School has been established with a vision to provide academic excellence within a caring community. The school follows a mission to provide the British curriculum and enable the students to achieve their full potential and become creative, responsible and successful citizens.

This Early Years and Primary school campus aims to provide the cream of British education standards to early childhood and elementary education learners, before those students move on to the Lanna International School Secondary School Campus. Together, these two campuses are the academic home of an international student body that is made up of 31 different nationalities that speak a combined 17 languages.

Early Years & Primary International School Campus

Lanna International School collectively caters to students in the preschool, middle school and secondary levels. Students join the early years’ programme at the age of 3 and study the world-famous Early Years Foundation Stage (the EYFS) beginning with the Nursery class and then the Reception class immediately following the student’s fourth birthday. Very recently, this campus began offering a pre-Nursery class for 2- to 3-year-old toddlers.

EYFS recognises that play is an integral part of the learning process at this stage, as is active application-based learning. The Primary school syllabus builds upon the foundations laid by the EYFS programme, and cover a significant array of academic and cross-curricular lessons and exercises, as laid out by the Cambridge Primary programme especially for English, mathematics, and the sciences.

Students are then offered the IGCSE syllabus in years 10 and 11, followed by the A levels in years 12 and 13, at the secondary levels which are now located at a different campus in Chiang Mai. British education has rightfully earned a reputation for its academic excellence, traditional values and sportsmanship.

The rigorous curriculum helps children to be educated at a higher academic standard. Students of Lanna International School will eventually have the opportunity to study in some of the best universities around the world.

Apart from academia, the school has extensive offerings outside the classroom. The school has a vibrant environment where sporting and other co-curricular activities are encouraged. Students learn a number of art, craft, music and sporting activities at different levels in the school.
