Singapore International School is the only school in Yangon offering the Singaporean curriculum as well as the Cambridge Assessment Internal Education to students. It is an all-through school which offers preschool, primary, middle school and secondary levels to students.

The Supercity Preschool, the kindergarten wing of Singapore International School follows a unique curriculum developed from thoroughly researched early childhood development concepts. It creates the right stepping stone for starting the learning journey of students.

Building 21st Century Skills

Singapore International School understands the primary level to be the formative years of a child’s life and hence aims to build confidence and a love of learning in children. Students are exposed to both academic and non-academic areas from a young age.

The focus during the primary level remains on the six years of primary level education, Development of 21st-century skills, participation in various activities and community involvement programmes, holistic assessment, outdoor learning through local educational trips. Students sit for the Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE) at the end of the 6th year.

In the secondary level, the school provides a well-rounded education with a focus to create passionate learners who are ready to take on the future. The school gives emphasis on aspects such as career aspirations, the readiness to take responsibilities as adults and methods of overcoming challenges in life. By the time they graduate, students are ready to face the challenges of higher education in any university across the world.
