Pride International School, Mandalay campus was established in 2005 and caters to students from kindergarten up to secondary levels.
In the preschool stage, the school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum while from primary up to secondary levels, it offers the Cambridge National Curriculum. There is a maximum of 24 students in each class which enables the teachers to provide personalised attention to students.
The student’s community mostly consist of Myanmar, Chinese and Indian students. The primary school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum and covers Key Stage 1 in Year 1 and 2 and Key Stage 2 covering Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. The primary school strives to lay a strong foundation in students so that they are able to adapt to the challenges in secondary school. Strong focus is given on mastering English.
The primary school harps strongly on the holistic development of children so that they grow up to be independent thinkers and problem solvers. The school offers a variety of extra-curricular activities to children such as arts, music and physical education. Pride International School, Mandalay campus understands that moving to secondary school from primary school is a big step for children and hence the secondary school creates a warm atmosphere where every child feels welcome. The school seeks to make learning fun and enjoyable. At the end of Year 11, the students appear for the IGCSE examinations. For the first three years in the secondary school, Pride ISM instills a love for different subjects in students so that they are able to make the right choice of subjects while entering the IGCSE stage.
