About Us

Pride International School of Myanmar Early Years Campus is a prestigious international preschool which is a part of the Pride International Schools. Established in Yangon in 2001-2002, there are 3 campuses of this school in Yangon and Mandalay which cater to students from kindergarten up to secondary stages.

The daily schedule in school balances large and small group work, active and quiet time, child-directed and teacher-led activities, art and crafts, indoor and outdoor time. The school uses a thematic based approach where children learn about the links between life and learning. Hence, it uses world-class materials to bring about a change in children’s life.

Early Years Foundation Stage

Students pick up key learning skills such as listening, speaking, concentration, persistence and learning to work and cooperate with other children. Focus is provided on the development of early communication, literacy and numeracy skills as well.

The school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which includes an international standard integrated approach to learning, development and care for children up to 5 years of age. The curriculum focuses on three prime areas: Communication and Language Development, Physical Development and Personal, Social and Emotional Development.

The curriculum also focuses on Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding of the World, Expressive Arts and Design. Specific goals are followed in each area, termed as Early Learning Goals which track the progress of students through their kindergarten journey. The faculty team provides all kinds of efforts to ensure children enjoy their learning journey at the school.
