About Us

ILBC IGCSE & A Level School offers IGCSE and GCE A Level to students from preschool up to the secondary levels. The school seeks to foster the holistic development of each child so that they are academically well-prepared, socially responsible, culturally sensitive and personally fulfilled. The school follows a mission to provide progress through education.

The school board believes in treating each child as an individual who develops at his or her own pace. Hence the school nurtures the academic, physical, artistic, emotional, and social needs of a child. The school also maintains a close, cooperative and caring relationship between student and teacher, and between student and student. It focuses on maintaining high academic standards where students are encouraged to reach their full potential. It focuses on concepts, processes, and skills and teaches children to learn how to learn.

The school follows a board curriculum that includes integrated approaches to learning. It also focuses on the development of positive attitudes towards learning, self and others, and the formation of a good moral character. The school encourages open communication between school, home and community and cultivates patriotism throughout the curriculum. Students are encouraged to keep a global perspective, including respect for the environment and appreciate and respect for individuals and cultural differences.

The school conducts various kinds of activities such as excursions, social events, sports, etc. to support academics. It employs trained, qualified and experienced local and overseas teachers many of whom are native English speakers. English is used as the medium of instruction.

The school provides excellent facilities for students. This includes a large gymnasium, air-conditioned classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a computer for each student, a well-stocked library and various kinds of teaching aids. Through the well-designed curriculum, the school ably shapes young minds and motivates to excel them in every sphere of life.
