Pride International School of Myanmar was established in Yangon in 2001-2002 and has grown to two different campuses in Yangon and one campus in Mandalay. Across all its campuses in Yangon and Mandalay, Pride ISM caters to students from kindergarten up to secondary stages. The school year runs from August to June.
Pride International School of Myanmar Primary and Secondary campus cater to students from primary up to secondary levels. The school follows the Cambridge National Curriculum. The primary school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum and covers Key Stage 1 in Year 1 and 2 and Key Stage 2 covering Year 3, 4, 5 and 6.
The primary school strives to lay a strong foundation in students so that they are able to adapt to the challenges in secondary school. Strong focus is given on mastering English. The primary school harps strongly on the holistic development of children so that they grow up to be independent thinkers and problem solvers.
The school offers a variety of extra-curricular activities to children such as arts, music and physical education. They see extra-curricular activities to be an integral part of the journey to adulthood of every child. The school understands that moving to secondary school from primary school is a big step for children and hence the secondary school creates a warm atmosphere where every child feels welcome.
