Yangon Academy International School offers the Advanced Placement (AP) programme to students. The programme is designed to provide the challenge of college-level courses to talented students in high school. The students sit for a rigorous external examination in May and receive university credit from the US. The school currently offers AP courses in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and English.
