Higher Cambridge International School

Higher Cambridge International School follows a vision to build bright futures for the children in Myanmar through quality education. The school seeks to provide holistic and phenomenon-based learning for children through creative and critical thinking so that they can grow up to adapt to the challenges of the 21st century.

Small Classroom Size

The school strives to be the best at whatever they do and implement best practices in evaluation and assessment. It follows the Cambridge International curriculum and caters to students in the preschool, primary and middle school stages.

The school community is small with only about 200 students. This helps the school to deliver a personalised experience to each student which is the main reason for them faring well in their examinations.

As the school name implies, it follows the Cambridge International Primary programme but delivers it in a new way which is fun as well as challenging. The programme is quite demanding so that students are always kept on their toes. The school instills a hunger for knowledge in children and exposes them to various learning resources. This helps students to visualise a future for themselves and thus work towards their goal.

Higher Cambridge & Little Cambridge

The school is divided into two divisions. The Little Cambridge International Pre-school which caters to children ages 3 to 6 and the Higher Cambridge International School which caters to children aged 6 to 12. The Pre-school follows a toddler-centric approach and creates a conducive environment which promotes learning and development while valuing the culture and tradition.

The Higher Cambridge International School, on the other hand, is the primary school which follows a holistic and inquiry-based approach to education. The school prepares the students for the future. The students love attending the school since they consider it a fun place to spend their time.

The school has a curriculum framework for each subject – English, mathematics and science. Each of them follows a clear teaching structure. Apart from this students also learn Myanmar Language, Social Study, Computer and ICT and Sakamoto Mathematics as well as extracurricular activities such as art, music and sports.
