Heathfield International School was formed in 2007 and offers the National English Curriculum. It is affiliated to Heathfield School UK and consists of a student community made up of both international and local students.
Most of the faculty are trained in the UK which ensures that the standard of lectures is up to British quality standards. The school is family-oriented and community-driven as they believe a strong partnership between parents and teachers are vital in ensuring the child reaches full potential.
The teaching staff are all trained, professional academics who are skilled in implementing the England and Wales National Curriculum. The faculty of the school all express the same hopes and ethos for all their students, fostering inventiveness and commitment to help make sure that they thrive not only through their lessons but also in their social environment.
Heathfield International School provides a caring atmosphere where students learn and flourish. To do so, the school observes several national and international cultural celebrations and festivities, to educate children about various cultures and traditions. The staff at this institution recognise the value of adjusting to an ever-changing educational environment and instilling a willingness to be adaptable, confident learners who stress the importance of change in their students.
The class sizes are kept small to ensure that the school can provide maximum benefit to students. As most of the teachers are parents themselves, they are able to understand and handle the children well. The school offers education for students from preschool to secondary level as well as scholarships to students from Year 1 onwards to appreciate their achievement in academics, sports and arts.
Aside from academic knowledge, students also learn co-curricular activities such as team-building, musical activities, web design and computer programming. These activities are changed each term to provide a stimulating experience for students as they constantly learn something new.
