Berkeley International School defines themselves as a motivated school community dedicated to student welfare. They use innovative practices to develop a sustainable community.

Founded in 2010, the school has grown from strength to strength, constantly adding new personalities and facilities to challenge the pupils in the midst of the fastest-changing times of all time. By 2014, Berkeley was fully accredited by the school committee of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), with the first graduating class emerging in 2017.

The school has offered an outstanding American college preparatory curriculum ever since, for both local and international students ranging from pre-K to grade 12.

Berkeley International School campus is a well-equipped one with science, dance and music rooms, two swimming pools, a grass soccer field, air-conditioned gym, fitness room and a theatre. The school offers a snack and lunch programme for all students where they serve healthy food with international flavours.

Berkeley International School offers preprimary, primary, middle school and secondary levels and follows the American Common Core State Standards. The academic calendar is quite rigorous enabling students to grasp maximum knowledge.

Secondary students can choose elective courses such as Mandarin, business management, publication and design, Spanish, psychology and sociology and others which serves as a stepping stone for a university degree.
