About Us

Bangkok Patana School was established 61 years back and started as a modest school with only 28 students. Today, the school has grown by leaps and bounds.

Bangkok Patana School thinks of itself as the oldest British international school in the country of Thailand, dating back to 1957, and proudly claims the rigours of its broad yet balanced curriculum as well as the emphasis on integrity, strong moral fibre, diligence, and fairness.

Students are afforded ample opportunity to explore their interests and passions, supported always by a solid pastoral care system that allows students to discover their innermost potential. The school is developing its diverse student body into globally-conscious citizens, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Learner Profile followed by the IB Diploma Programme in the final two schooling years are some of the most ideal curricula for incorporating world perspectives into the lessons.

Currently, classes are conducted in a spacious state of the art campus where more than 2000 students from 65 countries study. The school is dedicated to helping students realize their life ambition and strives to create independent and compassionate individuals who are capable of thinking and doing well for others.

IGSCEs & IB Diploma Programme

The school offers primary, middle school and secondary levels. The school follows the British curriculum which is offered to primary and middle school students, while the IGSCEs and the IB Diploma Programme is offered at the secondary level.

The school also provides a Home Languages programme where a student can learn a range of languages including French, Japanese, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Thai, Swedish, Chinese Mandarin, Singaporean Mandarin, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish and Dutch.

The school offers all the necessary facilities required for any student to perform effectively. The school also has career counsellors to guide students regarding their future career choices.
