Situated in the beautiful countryside of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar is a premier international school in Malaysia. Spread across a land of 80 acres, KTJ caters to the needs of students from the age of 3 to 19 years.

Multicultural Environment

The Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar Primary International School consists of children from Early Years (3-5 years) to Year 6. The school follows the British National Curriculum for Mathematics, English and Science and International Primary Curriculum for the other subjects.

British Based Curriculum

The school offers a well-balanced curriculum that focuses on the core subjects areas as well as the personal development and values of the child through character building and learning goals such as communication, adaptability, enquiry, cooperation etc. The KTJ Secondary school consists of Form 1 to Form 5 and A-levels.

Students are allowed entry from Form 1 to Form 4, but not in Form 5 as it is their final year for IGCSE exams. Forms 1 to 3 provides a solid foundation for the next level and in Forms 4 and 5, the school follows a British based curriculum which leads to IGCSE exams. The A-level courses are offered to students who have completed their IGCSE exams or are awaiting the SPM results.

KTJ offers a wide range of extracurricular activities to help the students discover their interests and talents. Some of the activities include languages, art, drama, dance, music, sports and science. The school also organises trips for the students, both in Malaysia and abroad to provide learning experiences outside the classroom. Students not only get an opportunity to bond with each other and the teachers but also learn to apply their classroom concepts in the real world.

In the Secondary school, students get an opportunity to join different clubs and societies of their interest such linguistics, robotics, forensics, math club, art club, debate and the likes.
