Beacon Hill School was established in 1967 for serving the population in and around the Kowloon area. It follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Curriculum.
The school follows English as the main medium of communication and gives priority to non-Cantonese speaking children. The school also incorporates Mandarin in its daily lesson and hence, is preferred by both local and expat parents.
The student community is completely international with students from different nationalities such as Hong Kong, Chinese, Australian, Canadian, British, Indian and American study here. Classes are conducted in one of the floors of a 7-storey high building. The class sizes are limited to 30 students.
The building is equipped with an ICT suite, Drama Studio, Specialist Music and Art room, a well resourced Learning Centre and two multi-purpose rooms. The school can be easily accessed from the Kowloon Tong MTR station.
The school delivers a high-quality programme and follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Following the programme, the school uses an inquiry-based, investigative teaching style which helps students to grasp the concepts easily.

The school also offer assistance to students who need help. The school has a special team to look after Special Education Needs children. Every student, no matter their level of learning, is welcome in this school. It also has a well-defined programme to help children facing difficulty with reading.
The school keeps in close touch with the parents and involves them in their child’s education journey. They also have a mobile app through which parents can interact with the children. This helps the school to deliver a superior educational experience to students.
