Magic Years International School was founded in 1990 for providing education to preschool students. The school started with only 4 students and has grown by leaps and bounds since. The school’s endeavour is to promote the ideals of responsible citizenship, academic excellence and international understanding.
The children are committed to excel in every field – academic, social and spiritual development. They work together to make this world a better place to live in. The school provides a challenging yet relevant learning environment where the young learners are pushed to independent yet also collaborative- thus building relationships established upon a platform of trust and positivity.
The school’s mission is to develop a caring community which moves together to celebrate and respect people from all backgrounds. It provides a challenging programme that balances the body, mind and soul and nurtures each student to be a life-long learner.
Magic Years International School is an IB World School and offers the IB PYP to students. The curriculum supports the diverse student background and also prepares a child for future challenges. Students at all levels take the ownership of their learning. Lessons are customised to ensure that students enjoy their learning.
Magic Years’ teachers are constantly upskilling and developing age appropriate techniques and methodologies that infuse creativity and reflection with an enquiry-centric approach, both within and without the classroom. A considerable amount of research, testing, and experimentation is conducted with various strategies to coerce active participation and critical thinking, while also challenging and provoking their learners to always be attempting new learning obstacles
The teaching faculty’s self-directed motivation to learn and improve their best practices, as well as inspiring outstanding achievement among young learners is a significant element of the admirable performance of Magic Years students. Besides the faculty and the students, the parents and families who make up the rest of the school community are constantly engaged not only in their own development cycles, but also to cultivate their role as agents of change in a rapidly different world.
The school offers extensive state-of-the-art facilities to students such as basketball court, cafeteria, clay studio, gardening fields, gymnasium, industrial arts, library, playground, recycling shed, soccer field, swimming pool and woodworking shed.
