Taylors International School Puchong is the second campus of the school which was established in January 2015. TIS Puchong is strategically located in Bandar Bukit Puchong 2 and connected to all the main cities through highways. The school is built on a 7.88-acre land and is complete with all the facilities and a global learning environment.
TIS follows the National Curriculum for England which finally leads to the IGCSE examinations. It is well grounded in both Western and Eastern values to promote the character building of students. It caters to the educational needs of students in early years, primary and secondary school. They aim to develop the students into purposeful future leaders.
The Taylor’s Schools group furthermore has a sister school in Taylor’s International School Puchong.
For the early years, Taylors International School Puchong follows a curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) from England. It also includes language training in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. For the primary school from Year 1- 6, TIS follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Children learn from exposure to a wide range of themes and hands-on experiences.
They are motivated to be independent learners, inquirers and thinkers. Secondary school is divided into Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11). Secondary school builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired in the primary school in Years 7-9 and in Year 10 and 11 students are prepared for the IGCSE exams through a two-year course at TIS.
Taylors International School Puchong provides a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities for the all round development of the students. The activities include everything from sports to dance, drama, music and many other opportunities.
TIS also offers English Support to children who have English as their second or third language. The specialist teachers are trained and well-experienced in helping these children learn the language. TIS Puchong also provides beyond the classroom learning opportunities such as geography, field trips and theatre. The purpose of these activities is to promote interest in culture, heritage, community and arts.
