Sri Ara International School follows the Cambridge Pathway that has encountered helping students build a deep knowledge of the subject, analytical comprehension and higher order reasoning skills they need for success across school, college and employment. Cambridge Primary is a framework for adolescents aged 5 to 11. Cambridge Primary improves the knowledge and skills of the learners as a first and second language, math and science through the primary years in English.

Cambridge Lower Secondary is an educational program for learners aged 11 to 14 years that develops first and second language skills, knowledge and understanding of English, mathematics, technology, and Cambridge ICT Starters. Cambridge IGCSE is the world’s most successful international certification between the ages of 14 and 16, drawing more than 900,000 subject entries from 140 nations each year. Sixth Formers, meanwhile, will move towards the Oxford AQA tests.

The school provides a global outlook which helps students gain success in life. The school offers education from preschool to secondary level. Apart from academics, the school encourages students to engage in extra-curricular activities. International School in Johor Bahru

The school was created because of the widespread support from the expatriate community and the parents from Malaysia who had been with school chairman, Puan Nooraini Mohd. Yasin, since the time she was in charge of the Tun Dr Ismail International School of Johor prior.

The school grounds feature several colonial bungalows built by the late Sultan Sir Ibrahim in the 1930s for use by prominent officials of the British Administration for his granddaughter Tunku Zahrah Molek Tunku Abu Bakar. Such colonial bungalows give the school setting a special character and feel. The building facilities are spread over a few acres of lower density green belt, close to Johor’s central business district.

Students have to undertake any two co-curricular activity every year out of the entire gamut offered which includes dance and aerobics, touch rugby, netball, art and craft club, speech and drama club, taekwondo, home science, volley ball and street soccer.
