Binus School Simprug has grown and evolved from its infancy as a Computer Training Course in 1974, to a mature, internationally recognised educational institution that is fully committed to the education of Indonesian youth.
With the objective of being an innovative and progressive teaching/learning institution, the school is a co-educational, multi-denominational day school catering to students from Primary to High School grade levels. Established in 1998 as a Senior High School, it was originally located in Kemanggisan and moved to its current location in Simprug, Jakarta Selatan in 2003.
As an International Baccalaureate “World School”, the school offers the IB`s internationally-recognized Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. The sequential and developmentally appropriate curriculum provides a broad-based, holistic educational experience for each student and offers rich learning opportunities in the classroom, nationally and internationally.

The primary aim of the programme is the development of international-mindedness in students supported by programmes to teach them how to learn so that they are prepared to actively engage with and contribute to the wider world.
As for older students who want to pursue tertiary level of education, there is the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. This programme is academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepare students, aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The programme, has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities.
