IB World School in Kowloon

The school was established in 2003 and is an IB World School. The school is passionate about promoting the welfare of the students and is committed to providing a welcoming community atmosphere where every child’s achievement is nurtured. It caters to students from nursery to Year 6.

The school follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and delivers it through a broad and balanced curriculum. Focus is given on each child and their needs. This helps the children to grow up as confident and responsible adults. Everyone in the school works hard to ensure that each child is happy.

The primary year’s programme offers a variety of enrichment and enhancement opportunities which link to the diverse school community. The school follows a motto to promote its students and teachers to think, inquire and inspire every day.

International School in Kowloon

The IB primary year’s programme keeps an international perspective which welcomes diversity of student backgrounds and experiences. The school strives towards developing internationally-minded individually who demonstrate the attributes of the learner profiles laid down in the International Baccalaureate programme.

While there is a homeroom teacher for teaching the core subjects, the associated subjects such as Art, Music, Chinese and Physical Education are taught by subject matter experts. The school also makes active use of information technology and raises technologically aware students.

IB primary years programme is a curriculum specially designed for students aged 3 to 12. The programme is a transdisciplinary framework which focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer in the school and beyond. The programme has been designed based on research and lays down specific instructions on how educators should teach, how to conduct the assessment and how to implement the principles of inquiry-based learning.
