The Early Years phase of the school consists of classes for kindergarten (3-4 year olds) and reception (4-5 year olds). St. Christopher’s offers consistent, comprehensive early education that ensures the students have a strong foundation on which to build their future learning. In a constructive and compassionate atmosphere, a combination of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) program as well as the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) provides young learners with learning opportunities and to prosper.

The period of the Infant phase consists of two year classes also known as Year 1 and Year 2. As a team, the Infant Teaching staff work together to plan and share ideas and provide a supportive, caring and stimulating learning environment that encourages children to become independent learners. The syllabus is designed to help the kids grow in trust and ability.

The Junior Phase emphasis is on “learning how to learn”. Children are encouraged to be receptive to new concepts and to assess their own progress in their handling. The school has access to a wide variety of information and media, and the importance of effective communication is taught as a means for comprehension.
