Tunku Putra HELP International School

In March 2018, CMSB collaborated with the HELP Education Group and Ibraco Berhad, to embark on an exciting journey in educational growth by establishing the Tunku Putra HELP International School in Kuching.

Located strategically at the NorthBank area of Tabuan Jaya, the residential heart of Kuching, the school will begin its first intake in January 2020 at its new purpose-built campus which can accommodate up to 1,500 students.

International School in Sarawak

The Tunku Putra HELP International School in Kuching is built on a partnership amongst three leading organisations, Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad, Ibraco Berhad and the HELP Education Group- who share the belief that quality education can assist people to achieve success and significance in their lives. Leveraging on each other’s respective forte, the partnership strives to deliver a world-class education at affordable fees to the people of Sarawak, and develop the future leaders of not only this state, but also of the nation and the world.

The Tunku Putra HELP International School philosophy will encompass the mastering of the following ideals: that of the intellectual,  creative, social, physical, technology, career, leadership, emotional, and moral standings. Some of the facilities will be the 3-storey multi-purpose building, sports hall and fitness gymnasium, swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, football field, computer labs, tech labs, cutting-edge science labs, performing arts theatre, dance studio with full-length mirrors, and so many more purpose-built amenities.

Named after the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haji, Tunku Putra School was set up by Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMSB) in 1996 as the first international school in Sarawak. 20 years later, the School has grown to over 600 students, represented by 20 nationalities.
