Tzu Chi International School

Tzu Chi International School was established in 2007 as an exgtension of Tzu Chi Da Ai Kindergarden. The school cultivates mindful education. The school follows Master Cheng Yen’s philosophy of nurturing and instilling humane qualities in children. The school offers a comprehensive education system from preschool till tertiary level. The school offers the Cambridge International Curriculum along with Tzu Chi’s humanistic lessons. Classes are conducted in Mandarin and English. Students are also taught Bahasa Malaysia and students are encouraged to master all three languages.

Tzu Chi International School is currently being conducted out of a large campus currently. A new building is under construction which is scheduled to be completed by 2020. The school follows three distinct approaches in three levels. In the preschool level, students are encouraged to inculcate a love for nature, develop harmonious relationships and grow up to be independent and responsible. In the primary level, students are taught fundamental life values such as honesty, self-respect, righteousness, benevolence, compassion, joy, selfless giving, life skills, moral values and humanistic values so that they develop a learning ability and grow up to be all-rounders. In the secondary level, students are given a purpose and direction in life. Students are trained to develop conscientious and intuitive abilities and gain the right knowledge and the right view to progress in life.
