The UK National Curriculum is indeed a set of subjects and regulations used by primary and secondary schools, originally used in Great Britain and now internationally renown. It is structured into blocks of years called ‘ key stages’ (KS). At the end of each key stage, the teacher will officially evaluate each child’s performance.
Cambridge IGCSE, on the other hand, is the world’s most renowned foreign certification for upper Secondary. It is recognised by top academic institutions and employers worldwide, and is an international gateway to growth and achievement.
All subjects taught include a combination of Islamic studies and the Cambridge International curriculum. In the preschool level, the school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. It provides a creative and caring environment where students learn while playing. It develops the child in all areas of the curriculum including literacy, physical, social and emotional growth. All activities are focused on developing an Islamic awareness since childhood.
From the primary level onwards, Cambridge International Curriculum is implemented. Education in the primary level is divided into class learning, focusing on core academic and Islamic modules, house learning, focusing on moral and character development. Cambridge IGCSE promotes education strategies which are focused on individuals and based on inquiry. This improves the skills of the learners in creative thinking, questioning and analytical thinking, giving the students excellent preparation for the next level of their training.
The secondary level focuses on developing the skills and strengths of students. A friendly and caring environment is created to help students overcome the challenges of the teenage years. The practices of SSI’s Bootcamp initiative are designed to aid students in exploring their abilities, uncover hidden strengths and conquer the shock factor. Students participate in the foundation principles of Seven Skies Bootcamp through demanding team-oriented practices such as teamwork, trust, communication, problem solving, and self-confidence.
