Fairview International School Subang Jaya (or FISJ for short) is an IB World School with a network of five schools across Malaysia. Fairview provides a complete range of IB programmes for students aged 3 to 19 years. With more than 38 years of success, Fairview now has over 3000 students from 55 different countries.
Fairview currently has 5 authorised IB World Schools which are authorised to provide 10 IB programmes. The teachers at Fairview are highly qualified, well experienced and trained internationally to provide the best learning environment for the students. The school provides a personalised learning programme keeping in mind the individual needs and abilities of every child.
At the moment, Fairview has 5 IB World Schools approved to provide up to 10 IB programs. The intent of these programs is to empower students to become responsible, productive and conscientious individuals with a love of learning for a lifetime. There have been currently five Fairview IB World Schools accredited, including such as Fairview International School Ipoh Campus, with at least three additional locations on the way, including one in the UK.
Fairview International School Subang Jaya was established in 2010 in the flourishing centre of Subang Jaya. It is an International IB World School that houses more than 300 students. FISJ is authorised to provide the Primary Years Programme and Secondary Years Programme of the IB continuum. FISJ is known for its academic excellence and strives to provide continuous learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
Fairview International School Subang Jaya provides a whole suite of IB curriculum. follows the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students aged 3 to 12 years, the Middle Years Programme for students aged 11 to 16, and Diploma Programme for students aged 16 to 19 years. The aim of these programmes is to motivate students to become responsible, active, and compassionate individuals with a lifelong love for learning. They strive to develop individuals who embrace diversity through respect and understanding.
The FISJ is a community school with a family foundation, with a range of resources available. Everything that the school aspires to accomplish at FISJ is done with passion and heart. The school is proud of the scholastic results of the pupils, and has seen 100 graduates since 2010. Since then, many of the pupils have graduated from the IB Diploma Program and have gained their choice of university places.
The doors of Fairview International School Subang Jaya opened officially in September 2010, in the quiet UEP area in Subang. The school began with a mere seventy seven students who are all wide-eyed and eager to explore a different approach to learning. The student population has grown in recent years to well over 450 students from 21 countries, ranging in age from three to sixteen years old. Levels of the academic year begin at Crèche through High School.
The school provides experiential learning in the form of expedition and excursions to local and international destinations. Community and service also form an important part of the school curriculum, encouraging the students to actively participate in different projects such as environmental project, charity events and more. The school has also introduced a Mandarin Programme considering its growing importance in the global sphere.
