Jakarta Intercultural School Cilandak Campus

The Jakarta Intercultural School Cilandak Campus was established in 1951 to cater to the children of a growing expatriate community in Indonesia’s capital. Over the decades, the school’s diverse community of students, staff and faculty members from across the globe – known as the Komodo Dragons – grew to take up three expansive campuses, all equipped with innovative learning facilities.

The school values students’ individual skills, talents and interests, nurturing them to be the best for the world. Rigorous learning and wellness are only possible when supported by an inclusive, collaborative community.

Achieving Their Personal Best

The Cilandak Campus offers education levels for Middle School and High School. For Middle School, students are to build powerful bonds between friends, between learning and real life, between interests and actual experiences. It is an exciting period of transition for students, a time when they build upon their strengths and continue to define who they are.

The Jakarta Intercultural School Cilandak Campus strives to maintain a healthy reputation by enabling all students to achieve their personal best, for nurturing healthy self-esteem, and for developing within the entire student body a sense of international- and intercultural-mindedness, and a positive vision for their future.

At the High School level, students will find warmth in every welcome, respect for each individual, and an honest pursuit for truth in all endeavours. As students develop into confident, creative, respectful, empathetic, and environmentally responsible people, the academic growth they experience ensures that their ongoing contribution to the world community will be significant.

Respect for Each Individual in Jakarta Intercultural School

On the High School campus, students will find warmth in every welcome, respect for each individual and an honest pursuit for truth in all endeavors. The programme supports students during this journey, helping them to discover what they are capable of and identify how they will contribute to a global society.

The Cilandak Campus in South Jakarta is home to both Middle School and High School. The lush, green campus offers a vast range of world-class facilities designed to optimise students’ learning experience, including two modern libraries, an indoor theatre and auditorium, multiple tennis courts and sports fields, swimming pools, and much more.
