Bombay International School

The Bombay International School Founded by a group of parents in 1962, with a vision to help the children enjoy learning instead of following the pressure of academics and rote learning. Even after 5 decades, BIS has continued to benefit from the unusual and brave ideas generated in the early days. The school always maintains a low student-teacher ratio in every class, the morning assembly ensures that no child remains stage shy, the library is a welcoming place with great classics, reference books and latest releases and the school lunch is a great time for students to come together. The BIS  adopted the international curriculum in 2007. It offers IGCSE, IBDP and PYP to the students. BIS provides the IGCSE program to students in the age group of 14 to 16 years. Learners are provided with a wide variety of subjects which equips them for pre-university programs including Cambridge IBDP and Cambridge International AS and A Levels. It also provides the IB Diploma Programme to students in the age group of 16 to 19 years which is widely accepted in leading universities across the world. IBDP is a balanced programme designed to promote the social, emotional, physical and intellectual well-being of the students. The Bombay International School is an authorised IB world school, PYP. The Primary Years Programme is designed for students in the age group of 3 to 12 years and focuses on the all round development of the students.
