About Us

Acmar International School (referred to internally as AIS) is a new school offering the Cambridge International Curriculum to students. The school offers education to students in primary, middle school and secondary levels. This school is the international wing of the Acmar Schools group that also runs Sekolah Sri Acmar which offers the national Malaysian curriculum to students at both the primary and secondary levels.

Acmar International School provides state-of-the-art facilities in a conducive learning environment. The school is strategically located in Bandar Baru Klang with route access points from three major highways – NKVE, Federal Highway and Shapadu. The school is committed to excellence, integrity, service to school and community and support the country’s aspiration in being a regional educational centre.

The school follows a holistic approach to education and adheres to its motto of “Wisdom and Love”. The school strives to be a renowned international education institution. Acmar is accredited and board certified by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), the international education assessment body based out of the UK, offering not only an extensive array of subjects but the flexibility of the learning method also allows the school the opportunity to shape a curriculum that is both exciting and unique for the students

The CAIE structure for preschoolers and kindergarten age children is the International Early Years Curriculum (or the IEYC) uses international best practices, holistic enquiry and play-based approaches that cover all curriculum areas including personal, social and emotional development

Whereas for the primary school years, the school practices the CAIE’s International Primary Curriculum (also known throughout the world as the IPC) as a creative, thematic, and comprehensive curriculum, with a clear learning process and specific learning goals for each subject. The IPC further aids in the development of an international-minded world view, while simultaneously encouraging personal learning development as well.

At the secondary school stage, students are being groomed to take the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (commonly known as IGCSE). The IGCSEs are globally renowned as the courses of choice for the development of vital education skills along with linguistic and problem-solving abilities. IGCSEs emphasise gaining successful learning outcomes by means of skill-based teaching methods that are carefully assessed on a regular basis.

Although this version of Acmar International School was only founded in 2018, the administrators and teaching faculty have more than twenty years of history as one of the education pioneers in the Klang Valley. Acmar Schools’ well rounded holistic approach is aimed at nurturing children’s progress in the fields of academics, sports, as well as mental and social development. In addition, the school aims to develop 21st-century skills and knowledge like robotics, drones, electronics, and coding within its student body.
