Garden International School Bangkok

Garden International School Bangkok was founded in 1999. With the aim to be an internationally recognised student-centric education provider, they encourage all students to reach their full potential. The school understands that the learning capacity of each child is different and thus teaches the students to be independent, responsible, critical thinkers and motivates them to have an international perspective.

Globally Recognised International School in Bangkok

GIS is centrally located not too far from the MRT and BTS transport stations, along with Lumpini Park. The school is fully recognised and accredited by the Edu Development Trust (EDT), ensuring the school’s standards are upheld at the highest levels for its students who are aged anywhere between two and eighteen years old.

Garden International School Bangkok follows the British Foundation Stage Curriculum as a preparation for their primary and secondary levels. Both the primary level follows the UK curriculum, as well as the secondary level. GIS Bangkok is an international school that fully embraces the National Curriculum of England.

After that, students can take the IGCSE examinations which leads to the internationally renowned A-level course, where eligible students will receive the opportunity to gain admission to top universities around the world, or even to a specific university of their choice.

Family + Community School

In a closely-knit community of teachers, parents and students from 20 different nationalities, they learn about different nationalities and cultures. Although a rather large school in terms of the student population, GIS Bangkok considers itself a community- and family-oriented school where the students, teachers, and families work together to benefit the school as a whole.

The school also lays a strong emphasis on co-curricular activities. It has a specific outdoor education programme where students enjoy the environment and learn outside a classroom setting. The broad range of extra curricular activities is intended to stretch each and every gift and talent that a child might possess.

The school intends to build core skills through these exercises, so students engage in sporting and cultural activities such as music, yoga, public speaking, basketball, e-science, learning different languages, football, tennis, robotics, and ballerina classes.
