Nilai International School follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for children aged 4 to 5 years and it focuses on the holistic development of the child, both inside and outside the classroom. The Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2) consists of students in the age group 5 to 7 years and Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6) consists of students in the age group 7 to 11 years.
The school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for Key Stage 1 and 2. Each Stage builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired in the previous stage. Key Stage 4 (Year 10 and 11) consists of students aged 15 to 16 years. The school follows the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum which leads to the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
