St Stephen’s International School Khao Yai Campus offers education in a compact, purpose-built site and strives to develop leaders of tomorrow. The school offers education to students from preschool up to secondary levels and follows the English National Curriculum.
The Khao Yai campus is one of two St Stephen’s campuses in the country, with the other being St Stephen’s International School Bangkok. The Khao Yai campus is easily accessible from the main road, and is situated about 15KM from the entrance of Khao Yai National Park.
The Khao Yai campus boasts of excellent academic achievements, educating pupils from Nursery up to Year 13 according to the British National Curriculum. The school holds an excellent academic track record. However, it concentrates on the progress of each individual to maximise the progress of each student.
It offers the Early Years Foundation Stage for children aged 2 to 5 years old. Teachers support the children’s learning progress by promoting creativity and critical thinking while ensuring the social, academic, and personal needs of the child is met.
For the primary level, the most rapidly growing component of the St. Stephen’s curriculum, the school follows the English model of Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The secondary level follows the English National Curriculum with the addition of Thai Language and Culture lessons.
St Stephen’s International School Khao Yai Campus offers extensive facilities to students which include the 5 metre swimming pool, a full-size football pitch, three tennis courts, a large gymnasium with 2 full-size basketball courts and a stage for performances, a self-contained Music Department, Canteen, Science and ICT Laboratories, Design Technology Workshop, access to an adjacent 9-hole golf course, recently modernised dormitory accommodation, Learning Resource Centre, spacious art facilities and dedicated classrooms appropriate to age group and subject.
The school provides boarding facilities to students up to the age of 16, with around thirty percent of the student population made up of boarding students. Apart from academia, students participate in a number of co-curricular activities such as charity, sports such as basketball, football, volleyball, performing arts and various clubs.
