Melodies International Kindergarten is a reputed preschool established in 1981 with an aim to foster learning and development of children in a natural and nurturing environment. Melodies is actually a kindergarten of Japanese origin, that has been fully approved by the Ministry of Education in Thailand.

Japanese International Kindergarten in Bangkok

The school offers two programmes – an international programme and a Japanese programme, and the kindergarten caters to children from 2 years to 6 years of age. The curriculum involves learning numbers, music, letters, the arts and physical education through fun and interesting activities.

The school encourages children to be independent, creative thinkers and possess self-confidence and self-discipline. Various play and hands-on exercises are conducted every day. Students participate in multi-cultural events throughout the year. The school also conducts regular field trips to museums, zoos and parks with family and friends.

Parents are able to track the positive activities of the children and their interaction with their carers and peers. The parent’s association is involved and parents can get together to address updates on childcare and lifestyle, activities, learning environment, scholastic trends, as well as miscellaneous requests and talking points from other parents.

Melodies International Kindergarten offers a number of facilities such as air-conditioned classrooms, transportation, food, spacious playground, cooking studio, multipurpose hall, physical education equipment and children’s swimming pool.

The school was designed with an emphasis on both security and the number of activities available to the young children, all conducted in a bright and welcoming environment with the Melodies International Kindergarten constructed in such a way as to allow the natural light in. The aforementioned activities area is situated adjoining the nursery location, allowing the unrestricted access to continue playing even during the rainy season.

The school also offers to coach for admission test into prestigious schools to enable students to pursue their primary level education at a school of their choosing.
